CMDFW - Registration (2011-2012)

Locations and Timings

  • Chinmaya Saaket (17701 Davenport Rd., Dallas, TX 75252)
    • Session S1: Sunday 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM
    • Session S2: Sunday 11:30 to 1:00 PM
    • Session S3: Sunday 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM
    • Session S4: Saturday 10 AM to 11:30 AM
  • Chinmaya Chitrakoot (900 N. Belt Line Road, Irving, TX 75061)
    • Session C1: Sunday 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM
    • Session C2: Saturday 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM

Balavihar Enrollment Status and Registration Update: 

  • S1 open for KG and Grade 1
  • S2 CLOSED
  • S3 open for KG, grades 6-12
  • S4 open for grades KG-9
  • C1 & C2 open for KG-12

If you have registered on-line and received a receipt from paypal, your registration is confirmed. You will not receive additional confirmation from the registration team.

If you have made a request to switch sessions, it is possible to switch only to the following sessions:

  • S3 (higher grades)
  • S4
  • C1 &C2

Registration for Cultural Classes: 

Registration for Cultural classes for all sessions is now open. Please register online at cmdfw.org

  • Continuing students - Classes in language and music classes will begin from Sept. 17th/18th.
  • New students - Classes for new students will commence from Oct. 01st/02nd
  • Sanskrit classes for adults will continue on Saturday mornings.
  • Shlokathon and Gita chanting classes are free
  • Sanskrit Classes are open to CMDFW members.
    • Classes began Sept. 10, 2011. Registration open unil Sept. 24, 2011.
    • Instructor decides the eligibility for the class.
      • Beginner's Sanskrit Class - Saturday 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM in Chinmaya Saaket. Contact Mrs. Kumudini Bellary (kumu_bellary @yahoo.com)
      • Intermediate Sanskrit Class - Saturday 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM in Chinmaya Saaket. Contact Acharya P.B Ghate (pbghate@aol.com)
      • Advance Sanskrit Classes - Saturday 10:30 AM to 12:00 Noon in Chinmaya Saaket. , Contact Acharya P.B Ghate (pbghate@aol.com)
  • Parivar families - All classes are free for Parivar families but online registration is required.

 

Balavihar Fees: 

  • Chinmaya Parivar: Chinmaya Parivar: $1200/year or two installments of $600. (Per-child fees are waived for all classes at Saaket)

Payment Options: 

  • Online Payment: If you have registered on-line and received a receipt from paypal, your registration is confirmed. You will not receive additional confirmation from the registration team.
    • The Treasurer has negotiated a reduction in the online service charge from3% to 2%.
  • Check/Cash: Only online payment is accepted at this time. Members who prefer to pay by cash/check must create/update their profile information online before they can sign up for activities. To  make a payment by cash/check member must come in person to Chinmaya Saaket or Chinmaya Chitrakoot during Balavihar sessions.

 Steps for online registration

  • Access the Registration tab on www.cmdfw.org. Under the Registration tab click on "Register Now" and the Registration site will open a new window.
  • The registration system used is same as last year and should be familiar to you. The system is now hosted on cmdfwmedia.org - a secure Chinmaya Mission D/FW website.
  • If you are a new member click on "New Registration" and create a profile for your family & then register. If you are a existing member you can login to the system.
  • User Name: User name is the EMAIL address you have used in last year's system.
  • Password: It is the same what you used last year.
  • For Forgotten password:
    • Click on "Forgot password & click here".
    • Enter your Email address
    • Click "Get password".
    • You password mail will instantly be sent to your email inbox. (Check your junk/bulk/spam folders)

  • New password guidelines:
    • For data security the system now requires you to choose a password with: At least 1 Upper case alphabet, 1 number & must be at least 8 characters long.

Cultural Classes

  • Cultural classes at Chinmaya Saaket and Chinmaya Chitrakoot will commence during the 2nd Week of Sept. 2011. Registration for cultural classes will be announced in August 2011. Please check this site periodically for updates after 2011-2012 Balavihar session starts.

Rules implemented by CMDFW Board

  • All members must sign the waiver form during registration.
  •  Membership fee of $50 is non-refundable. Refunds of registration payments will be honored only if the request is made within 30 days of the start of the session.  No refunds will be made after 30 days have elapsed.  There will be no exception to this rule.
