Guidelines for Balazine Contributions
Balazine team is very excited to announce the annual issue of Balazine to be published in May 2010. We are seeking contributions from all Balavihar students and graduates. All Balavihar relevant and original contributions are encouraged, here are some pointers to help you:
What we are looking for:
- Poems and Songs
- Stories, Essays, Articles or Book Reports
- Jokes, Drawings, Paintings or any artwork
- Travelogues and personal experiences
- Recipes (something whacky you tried and it turned out yummy)
- Letters to Balazine team from kids and Balavihar News and Achievements
If you are a Balavihar graduate, we’d like to hear from you! We hope your contributions will illustrate to current students how the values learnt in Balavihar are applied in everyday life after graduation! Or, what event prompted you to make the particular contribution? In other words, we welcome all your contributions; we want to be able to use them as a “Balavihar value proposition,” for current or future students.
Guidelines for contributions:
- Grades KG, 1, 2 & 3: Maximum 150 words, 1 low res picture max.
- Grades 4, 5, 6 & 7: Maximum 250 words, 1 low res picture max.
- Grades 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12 and ex-students: Maximum 500 words. 2 low resolution pictures max per submission.
- For all reports and essays, please quote references.
Media for submission:
- Electronic media is recommended.
- Text: Word document, font size 14, Times Roman with no other formatting
- Artwork: Scanned images are preferred and encouraged. Please make sure file sizes are manageable for email transmissions i.e. adjust resolution as required.
- Clearly label your submission with your full name, grade and BV Session information.
